Kyujin Cho possesses extensive experience in academia and industry, currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Seoul National University since September 2008. Cho has held various leadership roles within the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, including General Chair for ICRA 2027 and RoboSoft 2019, as well as Vice President of the Technical Activities Board. Additionally, Cho directs the Soft Robotics Research Center and served on the board at Kakao Corp from March 2017 to March 2023. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University, complemented by postdoctoral research at Harvard University.
