Gillian Howcroft is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and product management within the academic and publishing sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Digital Library Sales Manager at IEEE Computer Society since January 2023, Gillian oversees global sales and develops channel partnerships for digital library products. Previously, from November 2014 to January 2023, Gillian held the position of Regional Sales Manager for the US Western Region at Taylor & Francis Group, focusing on delivering research resources to university libraries. Other notable roles include Director of eProducts and Director of E Projects at Taylor & Francis Group UK Ltd, and General Manager for Europe at Thomson Reuters. An influential figure in the publishing community, Gillian has also contributed as a board member of Crossref and a mentor for the International Association of STM Publishers. Educationally, Gillian holds a BA in Languages for Business from the University of Wolverhampton.
