Thorsten Loechle is an experienced pharmaceutical leader currently serving as General Manager Deutschland at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd since September 2021. Prior to this role, Thorsten held the position of Business Unit Head for Sleep in Germany and Austria at Jazz Pharmaceuticals from April 2019 to August 2021. At AbbVie, Thorsten served as Director of Hepatology and Director of Specialty Care, overseeing the commercialization of innovative therapies across multiple medical fields. Thorsten's career includes significant roles at Roche, where as Therapeutic Area Head for China, a successful sales team was built, alongside experience as a Marketing Manager. Earlier roles also include international product management at Novartis Pharma AG. Thorsten holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Basel, obtained between 1989 and 1995.
