Jackie Corbitt Swan's work experience includes working as a Strategy Director at IDEX Corporation since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Manager of Strategy and Business Transformation at Schindler Elevator Corporation from October 2020 to September 2022. Before joining Schindler Elevator Corporation, Jackie worked as a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from January 2019 to October 2020. Jackie also has experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Virginia, where they conducted biophysics research focused on improving algorithms and developing network models for bacteria in biofilms from September 2017 to December 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington from June 2013 to August 2017 and from September 2011 to June 2013, respectively. Jackie also has experience as an Instructional Design Assistant at BYU Independent Study from June 2010 to August 2011, and as a Research Assistant at Brigham Young University from September 2007 to August 2011.

Jackie Corbitt Swan obtained a High School Diploma from Issaquah High School in 2007. Jackie then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Brigham Young University, completing it in 2011. Afterward, they attended the University of Washington, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics in 2017. Additionally, Jackie obtained a certification in Online Teaching for Adults from Boise State University in 2015.
