Darin Carter is a seasoned telecommunications professional with extensive experience in outside plant engineering and network management. Currently serving as the Manager of Design & Permitting and Network Engineer at IdeaTek, Carter has been instrumental in designing and deploying fiber infrastructure across Kansas. Previous roles include Engineering Project Manager at Ervin Cable Construction LLC, Lead Outside Plant Engineer at Verizon Business Markets, and Transport Engineer at Verizon Wireless, where Carter excelled in managing complex projects, including the implementation of advanced fiber networks and infrastructure for 5G and IoT. With a career spanning over two decades, Carter has consistently demonstrated leadership and technical proficiency in various switch and network engineering roles across multiple companies, including AT&T Wireless and Sprint PCS. Education was completed at the University of Phoenix between 2001 and 2003.
