Alexander Hahn has extensive experience in both scientific and management roles, currently serving as Resources Manager and Consultant Team Lead at IDBS since September 2013, where responsibilities include transitioning to agile service delivery as a Scrum Master/Agile PM. Prior to this, Alexander held various positions at Genomatix GmbH from July 2001 to August 2013, developing Next Generation Sequencing analysis services and managing application life cycles. Additional roles included database administration at FTI Group and postdoctoral work in fungal systematics at Technische Universität München, complemented by a Ph.D. in Biology from the Technical University of Munich and earlier degrees in Biology from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen.
