Romario Alves Pinto has extensive work experience in the field of trade and supply chain finance. ROMARIO has held various leadership positions in multiple companies, starting with their role as the Head of Trade and Supply Chain Finance at IDB Invest since 2017. In this role, they managed a team and expanded trade finance solutions.

Prior to that, Romario worked as the Chief Commercial Officer for Latin America at Invoinet from 2015 to 2017, where they led a structured trade and supply chain finance team and drove business expansion opportunities.

ROMARIO also worked at Bank of America as the Director - Country GTS Head Sales from 2012 to 2015, leading traditional and structured trade and supply chain finance, cash and liquidity management, and corporate cards teams.

Before that, Romario served as the Manager Director - Country Head of Transaction Banking at Royal Bank of Scotland Business from 2007 to 2012, where they led cash and liquidity management and trade and supply chain teams.

ROMARIO started their career at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where they held various positions from 1998 to 2007, including Vice President - Country Head of Commercial Banking and Vice President - Northern Cone Global Transactional Services Head - Sales Coordinator. ROMARIO managed capital and credit, client relationships, and coordinated sales activities.

Romario's early career includes roles at Banco ABN AMRO Real S.A., where they served as Vice President - Deputy Country Manager and Chief Operations Officer. ROMARIO also worked in the Brazilian Foreign Trade Department, gaining experience in international trade.

Romario Alves Pinto obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) program offered by Conselho Regional de Contabilidade de Minas Gerais, Brazil. This education was completed from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they also earned another Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Universidad Pontificia Catolica de MG in Brazil, which they pursued from 1984 to 1988.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Romario Alves Pinto has also obtained a certification in transformational international executive coaching. This certification was earned from ICF Mexico / ITESM in February 2015.
