Raul Sanchez serves as a Development Effectiveness Officer at IDB Invest since August 2018, focusing on designing and implementing development impact measurement strategies for private sector investments and advisory projects. Previously, Raul held positions as a Development Effectiveness Consultant at IDB Invest and the Inter-American Development Bank, where responsibilities included assessing development results and conducting impact evaluations. Additional experience encompasses roles as a Social Protection and Health Consultant, a graduate assistant in economics and agricultural and consumer economics, and a consultant for the World Bank. Raul Sanchez earned a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with Master's degrees in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis and Universidad Nacional de La Plata, and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Universidad Nacional de Misiones.
