Juan Sebastian Jaramillo currently serves as Lead Legal Counsel at BID Invest since September 2017, with previous roles including Senior Legal Officer, Attorney, and In-House Counsel. Prior to BID Invest, Juan Sebastian was a Senior Associate in corporate and M&A practice at Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uria from August 2016 to September 2017, and an International Visiting Professional at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates from September 2015 to June 2016. Earlier experience includes an Associate position at prietocarrizosa from June 2010 to August 2014, and roles at Universidad de los Andes, including Adjunct Professor and Administrative Assistant. Educational credentials include a Master of Laws in Business Law from the University of California, Berkeley (2014-2015), a Master of Laws in General Law, and a Bachelor of Laws, both from Universidad de Los Andes (2010-2014, 2005-2010 respectively), along with a degree in political science from Universidad de Los Andes.
