Juan Parodi is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment and relationship management across various sectors. As a Principal Investment Officer at IDB Invest since July 2017, Juan has focused on supporting corporate clients in the manufacturing and industrial sectors in the South Cone, emphasizing sustainable growth and carbon footprint reduction. Prior to this role, Juan served as a Senior Investment Officer at PROPARCO, managing investments in renewable energy and other development areas, and held senior positions at Itaú BBA, Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking, Banco Santander, and Grupo Santander Brasil, where responsibilities included managing substantial loan portfolios and structuring financial solutions for corporate clients. Juan holds a Bachelor of Commerce in International Finance from Saint Mary's University and a Master's degree from Fundação Dom Cabral.
