Diego Flaiban is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in structuring financial and capital markets projects across Latin America. Currently serving as the Head of Financial Institutions Southern Cone at IDB Invest since January 2016, Diego has been instrumental in developing private sector projects in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Prior experience includes key roles at the Inter-American Development Bank, where responsibilities encompassed structuring finance projects and ensuring compliance with regulations, and positions at Deloitte, BNP Paribas, Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, and Banco Galicia, where skills in financial analysis, auditing, and advisory services were honed. Diego holds a postgraduate degree in International Business Management from Georgetown University, a CPA certification from the Virginia Board of Accountancy, and a Certified Public Accountant degree from the University of Buenos Aires.
