Alexandra Hambrook is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in operational and finance roles. Currently serving as a Legal Operational Officer at IDB Invest since 2016, Alexandra supports IDB Lab operations across Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to this position, from May 1994 to 2015, Alexandra held the role of Private Finance Operations Associate at the Inter-American Investment Corporation, where responsibilities included validating financing disbursements and ensuring compliance with corporate policies. Additionally, Alexandra worked as a Legal Associate, supporting the closure of international finance transactions by drafting essential agreements. Alexandra holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law and Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor's Degree in law from the University of the Republic of Uruguay.
