Deanna Shaffer is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in accounts payable and financial management. Currently serves as a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist at Idaho Power since March 2019. Previously worked as an Accountant/Accounts Payable Manager at MotivePower, where responsibilities included managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, project accounting, and overseeing a team of clerks. Deanna held the position of Accounting Manager at Microphor, managing monthly closings, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable, while supporting corporate reporting. Earlier experience includes serving as a Staff Accountant and Firm Bookkeeper at Robertson, Cahill & Associates, focusing on school auditing and client accounting. Deanna earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Boise State University and has completed additional professional development in leadership.
