Shawn Choleva has a strong background in software development and engineering. Shawn started their career at Turner Industries as a Software Developer I from May 2014 to October 2015. Shawn then joined Netchex as a Software Developer in October 2015 and worked there until December 2018. From December 2018 to January 2020, Shawn worked as a Senior Software Engineer and then as a Lead Software Engineer at Veriforce. In December 2020, they transitioned to Angi as a Senior Frontend Engineer and remained there until July 2021. Currently, Shawn is working at ID.me as a Senior Frontend Engineer, starting in August 2021.

Shawn Choleva attended Southeastern Louisiana University from 2009 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Computer Science degree with a focus on Information Technology. In February 2016, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org.
