Rui Manuel Reis serves as an Assistant Professor at the ICVS - Life and Health Sciences Research Institute since January 2013 and has held the position of Scientific Director at Hospital de Amor since August 2010. Rui completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Molecular Biology at Universidade do Porto from 1991 to 1996, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Pathology from the International Agency for Research on Cancer / World Health Organization between 1998 and 2001. Rui also pursued post-doctoral studies in Genome Sciences/Genomics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 2002 to 2003 and was a GABBA Program Fellow at the University of Porto from 1997 to 2001.
