Thomas Gibson is a digital marketing specialist at ICU Medical since August 2022 and the founder of Blackhill Studios, a recording studio in Southampton dedicated to talent development, songwriting, and music production, operational since August 2016. Previous roles include senior marketing executive at Barretts Kent, mentor and course instructor at The Songwriting Academy, and lecturer at the Academy of Music & Sound, where responsibilities involved teaching music technology and production at various educational levels. With early experience as a freelance engineer at Gibsound and technical support at The Purcell School, Thomas has a comprehensive background in music production and education. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Music and Sound Recording from the University of Surrey, earned between 2008 and 2012.
