Justin Schmidt, PSEM has been in the software engineering field since 2009. Justin began their career as a Software Engineer at Electric Boat and later became a Senior Software Engineer. In 2014, they moved to KVH Industries, Inc. as a Software Applications Engineer. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer Contractor at Hayward Pool Products. In 2017, they became a Software Manager at inc.jet, Inc. and currently holds the position of Senior Qt Software Engineer at Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc. (ICS).

Justin Schmidt, PSEM completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology and Computer Engineering Technology from Purdue University in 2009. Justin then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, which they obtained in 2021. In 2016, they were awarded the Professional Software Engineering Master certification from IEEE Computer Society.
