Valentina Rosa is an experienced professional in resource mobilization and fundraising, currently serving as the Head of Private Sector Engagement Centre of Expertise at the International Committee of the Red Cross since June 2024. Previously, Valentina held roles such as Chief Development Officer at Human Rights Watch and Head of Resource Mobilization for Médecins Sans Frontières (Switzerland), where significant contributions to private donor engagement were made. Valentina's earlier experience includes positions with UNICEF as Fundraising Manager and several strategic roles at American Express and McKinsey & Company, focusing on business development and strategy. Valentina holds an MBA from INSEAD, a Master of Science in Chemical Physics from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a Laurea in Physics from Sapienza Università di Roma.
