Daniel O'Malley is an experienced humanitarian professional with extensive leadership roles at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) since 2004. Currently serving as the Head of Regional Delegation for Kenya, Djibouti, and Tanzania, Daniel has held various positions, including Operations Coordinator for the Horn of Africa and Deputy Head of Delegation in Somalia and Ethiopia. Daniel's career at ICRC also includes multiple leadership roles in sub-delegations and offices, as well as specializing in detention issues. Prior to joining ICRC, Daniel worked as a trainee consultant with Ecorys and as a consultant for the International Labour Organization. Daniel holds advanced degrees from Durham University in European Economic and Political Integration, the University of Deusto in International Humanitarian Assistance, and the University of Kent in Economic Analysis, History, and Policy.
