John Barrigar is an experienced visual effects and animation professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Supervisor in the Shot-Finalling department at ICON Creative Studio since August 2021, John manages the Shot-Finaling team for the children's series "Firebuds," overseeing episode reviews, quality control for lighting and rendering, and collaborating across various departments. Prior to this role, John worked as a Character FX Artist at Cinesite on the animated "Addams Family" features, and at Digital Domain on "Beauty and the Beast." John's background includes technical animation and VFX work with several companies, including MPC, CIS Vancouver, and Zoic BC, showcasing a strong proficiency in character cloth and hair setups, simulation, and geometry polishing. John holds a degree in Character Animation from CDIS, now known as the Art Institute.
