Daniel Blackburn

Manager, Data Analytics at iCIMS

Daniel Blackburn has a diverse work experience starting from 2017. Daniel began their career as a Business Management Intern at Sensient Technologies Corporation, where they provided support for the Color Group Customer Service Team. Their responsibilities included managing sales orders, email communications, and data validation for carrier profiles.

In 2018, Daniel joined iCIMS as a Data Analyst Intern. Here, they analyzed customer data and proprietary research to examine labor mobility trends in the U.S. Daniel collaborated with the Chief Economist and data scientists to identify trends and prepared communication points for different audiences.

Daniel continued their journey at iCIMS, progressing from an Associate Data Analyst to a Senior Data Analyst. Daniel analyzed data from various sources, including external research, labor market data, and internal data sets from the Recruitment platform. Daniel used critical thinking to identify trends and presented results. Additionally, they investigated data quality issues and worked with data scientists and engineers to implement remedies.

At the University of Notre Dame, Daniel served as a Resident Assistant, guiding students in living together productively and serving as a role model within the dorm and larger campus community. Daniel was selected for this leadership position through a highly competitive selection process. Daniel also worked as a Library Assistant, contributing to the library's operations.

Daniel currently holds the position of Manager, Data Analytics at iCIMS, starting in 2019.

Daniel Blackburn attended St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, NJ from 2011 to 2015, where they earned their High School Diploma with a field of study in College Preparatory. During their time at St. Joseph High School, Daniel achieved a Cumulative GPA of 4.63/5.0.

Following their high school education, Daniel Blackburn enrolled in the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business in 2015. Daniel pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a field of study in Business Analytics. Daniel's studies at the University of Notre Dame came to an end in 2019.
