Vivek Sawant is an experienced professional in motor underwriting, currently serving as Vice President at ICICI Lombard since February 2022. Prior positions include National Manager of Motor Underwriting at Magma HDI General Insurance Co Ltd, where portfolio management and new product development contributed to profitable growth from September 2017 to February 2022. Previously, Vivek held roles at SBI General Insurance as Chief Manager Motor Underwriting and Senior Underwriter, as well as Underwriting Manager at HDFC ERGO General Insurance and Senior Underwriter at ICICI Lombard. Early career experience includes positions at Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited as Claims Manager and as Underwriter at ICICI Lombard. Vivek holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology from Mumbai University, completed in 1999.
