Leticia Tarruell is an accomplished academic in the field of quantum physics, currently serving as an ICREA Professor and leading the Ultracold Quantum Gases Group at ICFO since June 2013. Prior to this role, Leticia held the position of Chargée de recherche CNRS at LP2N, Institut d'Optique d'Aquitaine from January 2012 to May 2013, and was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Quantum Optics Group at ETH Zurich from July 2008 to October 2012. Leticia began their academic journey as a PhD student at Laboratoire Kastler Brossel, ENS Paris, from 2004 to 2008, after obtaining a Master's degree in Quantum Physics from Ecole Normale Supérieure. Leticia's educational background also includes studies at Université Paris Cité as an ERASMUS student in Physics and a Bachelor's degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
