Dibya Jyoti Sarangi is currently a Doctoral Researcher and PhD Trainee at ICFO, having begun in July 2023, with a focus on the physics of photon diffusion in human tissue and hands-on experience using advanced laser and ultrasound techniques. Prior to this role, Dibya served as the Nucleus Placement Coordinator at the Office of Career Services at IIT Delhi from March 2022 to August 2023, facilitating connections between students and employers during the placement season. Additionally, Dibya worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at IIT Delhi from August 2021 to August 2023, and as a Guest Faculty member at Pachayat Government College, teaching Physics to grades 11 and 12 from July 2019 to February 2021. Dibya's educational background includes a current PhD program in Physics specializing in Photonics and Medical Optics at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, a Master of Technology in Applied Optics from IIT Delhi, a Master of Science in Applied Physics from Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics Honours from Ravenshaw University.
