Sauli Kunnas is an accomplished electronics professional with extensive experience in hardware engineering and team leadership. Currently serving as Electronics Team Lead at ICEYE since August 2022, Kunnas previously held the position of Sr Principal HW Development Engineer at Infinera from October 2018 to May 2022, where responsibilities included defining system architecture for the Carrier Class Whitebox platform DRX and acting as a technical lead for OEM/ODM partners. Prior to Infinera, Kunnas worked at Coriant, Inc. as a Principal Engineer - Hardware and Staff Engineer - Hardware, focusing on system architecture, component selection, and product development for data products. Kunnas's career began at Tellabs, where design and engineering expertise was applied to various telecommunication projects over a span of 15 years. Kunnas holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Helsinki Institute of Technology, obtained in 1998.
