Manuel Azevedo is an experienced engineer currently serving as an ADCS Engineer at ICEYE since November 2022. Prior to this role, Manuel worked as a SAR Payload Engineer at Tekever from October 2019 to November 2022, where responsibilities included the development of algorithms for SAR signal processing, data flow control, image generation, and platform navigation, alongside implementation and testing of these algorithms in embedded systems using C, C++, and CUDA. Manuel's academic background includes a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, completed in 2019, and ongoing studies as an Erasmus student at the University of Pardubice and participation in the Quark! Project in Physics at Universidade de Coimbra since 2014. A noteworthy project includes the development of a flight simulator in Simulink for the Portuguese satellite Infante, which encompassed various modeling and simulation tasks.
