Alphonsa Mathai currently serves as the Chief Learning Officer for IBM Consulting - GIC, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this role, Alphonsa held various leadership positions at IBM, including GBS Learning and Knowledge Leader for CIC India since April 2018, and General Manager of Learning and Knowledge for Globally Integrated Capabilities from March 2013 to March 2018. With a focus on innovative skill development and multicultural engagement, Alphonsa has managed learning teams across multiple countries, enhancing educational solutions in Industry, Technology, and Professional Development. Earlier experience includes roles as Engagement Lead in Client Relationship Management and Education Industry at IBM Global Services, along with positions in operations and learning delivery. Alphonsa's career began as a Program Manager and Facilitator at IBM India Pvt Ltd, after serving as a South Region Brand Manager at Modicare Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Sales and Marketing from XIME, Bangalore, and a Bachelor of Science degree from RLS College, Belgaum.
