Edward Simpson is a System Development Engineer at IAV GmbH since October 2024, focusing on the physical definition of problems in complex control systems and establishing system requirements with associated qualification tests. Previously, Edward worked as a Machine Design Engineer at Fori Automation, LLC, where responsibilities included defining machine cycles and selecting components for automotive production line machinery. Edward also served as a Product Research, Development, and Management Engineer at Cecotec, overseeing market research in the energy sector, and held an internship in research and development engineering, contributing to the design of electrical and mechanical systems. Earlier experience includes a mechanical engineering internship at AISPROYEC, where Edward supported customer project development. Edward holds a Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València.
