Jae Day has extensive experience in the entertainment industry, working as a stagehand with IATSE Local One since February 2006, where responsibilities include roles as an electrician, lighting console programmer, and follow spot operator across various settings, including industrial events, television studios, and Broadway theater. Prior to this, Jae Day was self-employed as a theatre electrician and conventional lighting programmer from June 2001 to April 2015, and held positions at notable organizations such as Tinc Design, Spoleto Festival USA, The Public Theater, Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts Camp, and Glimmerglass Opera. Jae Day holds a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from UC Irvine, where studies were completed from 1995 to 2001, and attended Carlmont High School and Saint Matthew's Episcopal Day School.
