Melissa Koop's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Melissa began their career in 2000 at Sitework Consulting as a QTO & Cost Estimator. After working there for four years, they joined Binghamton University in 2018 as an Institutional Research Analyst. In the same year, they also started working at Modern Marketing & Commerce as a Senior Business Analyst. Over the years, they progressed to the role of Senior Program Strategist and eventually became a Program Director. In 2021, Melissa joined iA, starting as a Business Systems Analyst and later was promoted to Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. Currently, they hold the position of Sr Director, Financial Planning and Analysis at iA.

Melissa Koop pursued their education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Human Development from Cornell University between the years 2010 and 2014. Building upon their undergraduate degree, they then attended Northwestern University from 2015 to 2017, where they successfully completed their Master of Science in Predictive Analytics.
