Tommy Wynne is the current director at Iarnród Éireann. Tommy previously worked as an HV electrician at HVSM Ltd from January 2016 to December 2017. Prior to that, they were with Enersol Engineering from May 2014 to May 2016, and Dlok Group from October 2006 to August 2008. Tommy started their career as an electrician with P.Fay Electrical in February 1998 and worked there until August 2006.

Tommy Wynne's educational career began with a B.Sc. in Engineering from Dundalk Institute of Technology. Tommy then went on to complete a B.Eng. in Electrical & Electronic Systems Engineering from the same school.
