Sanjeev Sharma is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in corporate affairs and market reporting. Currently serving as Editor, Corporate Affairs and Markets and Chief of National Bureau at IANS India Private Limited since September 2019, Sanjeev previously held the position of Business Journalist at Financial Express from February 2019 to September 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Business Editor at The Tribune from October 2010 to August 2018, Editor - Special Projects at The Economic Times between 2007 and 2009, and Corporate Editor at The Economic Times from 1998 to 2006. Sanjeev began the journalism career as a senior correspondent at Indian Express from 1992 to 1993. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Delhi University, obtained between 1989 and 1992, and early schooling from Springdales School in Amritsar from 1977 to 1986.
