Michel Payeur currently serves as Vice President of Technical Services at IAMGOLD Corporation, a role held since August 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing technical, operational, and financial aspects of projects as well as business opportunities in the Americas. Previous positions within IAMGOLD include Deputy Project Manager for the Côté Gold Project and Manager of Mine Technical Services at Rosebel Gold Mines, focusing on mine engineering and operational aspects. Prior to IAMGOLD, Michel served as Director of Business Development at SNC-Lavalin and held various engineering roles at Olympus, Golder Associates, and Laboratoire A.B.S. Michel holds a Master of Applied Science in Geotechnical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Geological Engineering, both from Polytechnique Montréal.
