Stephen Townshend is a Senior Environment Manager at IAG, where Stephen implements DevOps and SRE principles to simplify ways of working, increase agility, and improve reliability. Prior to this, Stephen worked as a Developer Advocate and Site Reliability Engineer at IAG, focusing on observability and enabling SRE concepts and practices. With a background in performance testing and software performance, Stephen has held various roles at companies such as Assurity Consulting Ltd and Equinox IT. Stephen holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Canterbury and a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Acting from Toi Whakaari.
