Barnet Heeley is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in senior finance roles primarily within IAG Cargo and British Airways. Since May 2011, Barnet has served as Senior Finance Business Partner at IAG Cargo, where responsibilities included managing a €375m cost base and providing strategic financial insights to optimize €1bn in revenue, as well as mentoring a team of finance professionals. Prior roles involved overseeing financial operations for various sectors including Compliance, Customer Service, and Infrastructure, leading initiatives that delivered significant cost savings and improved contributions. Before IAG Cargo, Barnet held several finance positions at British Airways, starting as a Finance Analyst and progressing to Senior Finance Business Partner, and also gained experience in management information systems at Christian Salvesen. Barnet is a CIMA-qualified professional with a degree in Geography from the University of Birmingham.
