Sandor Mulsow is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in marine geology and environmental monitoring. Currently serving as a UN Scientist and Professional Civil Officer at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) since December 1999, Sandor focuses on radionuclides in the marine environment and capacity building efforts. Formerly a Full Professor at Universidad Austral de Chile from May 2004 to May 2022, Sandor specialized in deep sea mining. Additionally, from September 2013 to December 2019, Sandor held the position of Head of the Office of Resources and Environmental Monitoring at the International Seabed Authority, emphasizing the protection of deep sea resources. Sandor's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Geology/Earth Science from Boston University, alongside master's and bachelor's degrees from Universidad Austral de Chile in Zoology and Chemistry, respectively.
