Fuming Jiang has extensive experience in nuclear safety leadership, currently serving as the Head of the Operational Safety Section at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) since 2013. In this role, Fuming Jiang also acts as a Senior Safety Officer and OSART Team Leader. Prior to joining the IAEA, Fuming Jiang was the Director at CNNC Nuclear Power Operation Management Company Ltd., focusing on governance, safety evaluations, and promoting nuclear safety culture from 2011 to 2013. Fuming Jiang's earlier roles include Acting Director at China National Nuclear Corporation, overseeing safety initiatives and corporate governance from 2008 to 2011, and Assistant Director at Third Qinshan Nuclear Power Company Ltd. from 1997 to 2008, where responsibilities included commissioning planning and outage management. Fuming Jiang holds a Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and has participated in advanced studies at the World Nuclear University in South Korea.
