Neal Richter

Chairperson at IAB Tech Lab

Neal Richter is an accomplished professional in the field of advertising technology, currently serving as Director of Advertising Science at Amazon DSP since April 2021, where oversight includes a team focused on RTB bidding algorithms across various media. Richter also holds the position of Chairperson at IAB Tech Lab since May 2019, advising on technical standards for real-time advertising, and provides technical advisory services at Spaceback and Cognitiv. Previous roles include Chief Scientist at SpotX, CTO of Rakuten Marketing, and extensive experience as a technical advisor for multiple companies including Metamarkets and nToggle. Richter's educational background encompasses a PhD in Computer Science from Montana State University, alongside advanced certifications from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Master’s degree from Utah State University.
