Sayantan Lahiri is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in private equity and infrastructure finance. Currently serving as Managing Director and Principal at I Squared Capital since August 2017, Sayantan is focused on building energy transition businesses in the Asia Pacific region. In addition to this role, Sayantan holds multiple board director positions, including with THINK Gas Distribution Pvt. Ltd, Clean Energy Fuels Australia, AG&P Pratham, and Polaris Smart Metering, contributing to the growth of city gas distribution and advanced metering solutions. Previously, Sayantan was an investor director at DCDC Kidney Care and gained significant experience at UTI Mutual Fund, Wachovia, Deutsche Bank, and the Indian Register of Shipping. Sayantan holds an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a B.Tech in Ocean Engineering & Naval Architecture from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
