Xi Huang has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 1994, they served as a Research Assistant Professor of Environmental Medicine at New York University School of Medicine and later became an Assistant Professor of Environmental Medicine before being promoted to Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology. During their time at the university, they also held the role of Adjunct Professor and Course Director for the "Cell Signaling and Environmental Stress" course.
In 2012, Xi Huang entered the skincare industry, serving as the Chief Technology Officer for both Ex Vivo Dynamics, Inc. and Marvan Skincare Inc. They were responsible for overseeing technological advancements in these companies.
In 2018, Xi Huang founded FE:I Beauty Tech, Inc., where they assumed the role of Founder and President. They later founded i-On Skincare in 2021, once again serving as the Founder and President.

Xi Huang's education history begins in 1981 when they attended China Agricultural University and earned their Bachelor's Degree. From 1985 to 1986, they studied at China Language University and obtained an Associate's Degree in French Studies. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Paris VII in 1986 and completed a Master's Degree in Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology in 1987. Xi Huang continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology in 1991.
