Otis Hackney currently serves as the National President and Chief Executive Officer of the "I Have A Dream" Foundation, a position held since November 2022. Prior to this, Otis Hackney was the Chief Education Officer for the City of Philadelphia from January 2016 to November 2022. Otis has extensive experience in educational leadership, having served as Principal for both The School District of Philadelphia and the School District of Springfield Township between 2007 and 2015, as well as in various capacities, including Assistant Principal and Mathematics Teacher, within The School District of Philadelphia from 1998 to 2007. Otis Hackney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education - Mathematics from Temple University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University. Educational background also includes attendance at the Community College of Philadelphia and Hampton University.
