Hojun Jaygarl currently serves as Vice President at 현대캐피탈, overseeing the digital development of customer channels for automotive and personal finance products. Previously, Hojun held multiple roles at Samsung Electronics, including Head of the Intelligence Platform Lab, where responsibilities included developing AI/ML-based mobile services and home automation. Hojun also contributed as a Principal Software Engineer, leading the development of the Bixby voice assistant application, and as a Senior Engineer architecting Samsung's platforms and frameworks. Earlier experience includes positions at Microsoft, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and startup ISMAKER, with a foundation in software engineering established at Eleart co. ltd. Hojun holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Iowa State University and has received prestigious awards, including a Silver Samsung Research Paper Award.
