Thom Huisman currently serves as System Groupleader for Electrical and Control Systems at Hyster-Yale Materials Handling since September 2024. Previously, at Ebusco®, Thom held multiple roles including Interim High Voltage Architect, Team Lead for Software, Team Lead for System Integration, and Electrical Software Engineer, leading multicultural teams and overseeing the complete high voltage architecture and software development for company vehicles. Thom began their career as an Electrical Engineering Graduate Intern at Lightyear and gained experience as Chief Powertrain for Forze Hydrogen Electric Racing. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Power Engineering from Delft University of Technology and additional degrees from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and Delft University of Technology focused on Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
