Adam Warburton has a diverse work experience in different engineering roles.
Adam started their career as a Calibration Engineer at Cosworth in 2004, where they were responsible for calibration of Formula 1 race engines and specification of engine control system software. Adam also handled engine performance analysis and various systems analysis tasks. Adam worked at Cosworth until November 2006.
From November 2006 to January 2010, Adam worked as an R&D Project Engineer (Drivetrain) at Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology.
After this, they joined Hydraulic Controls as a Design Engineer in 2010 and stayed there until July 2011.
From August 2011 to May 2017, they worked as a Senior Engineer at NTC Powertrain.
Starting from October 2017, Adam joined New Technology Driveline Pty Ltd as a Senior Engineer. Adam'sresponsibilities included designing transmissions for electric powertrains, including 1-speed and novel 2-speeds. Adam also worked on gear and bearing concepts for durability, NVH, and efficiency. Additionally, they were involved in Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) design and system analysis.
Most recently, Adam has been working for Hysata from June 2021 as a Consulting Engineer. Later, they were promoted to the role of Lead Engineer - Balance of Plant, which they currently hold since February 2022.
Adam Warburton attended The University of Sheffield from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering. After a gap of several years, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance at Kaplan Australia.
