Alex Henzen is a highly experienced professional in electronic display technology, currently serving as the Director of Display Technology and CTO at HYPHY since August 2021 and as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of VisoChrome since September 2023. With a long-standing academic role as a Professor at South China Normal University, beginning in August 2012, Alex specializes in electrophoretic display construction and driving. As a Technical Consultant at DisplayConsult b.v. since January 2010, Alex provides expertise in manufacturing technology, display optics, and product innovation. Previous leadership roles include Founder and CEO of Liquid Light (2019-2023), VP of Process Development at CLEARink Displays (2014-2016), and Founder and CTO of IRX Innovations B.V. (2010-2014). Alex's career spans several notable positions at Philips, including Program Manager for Innovation from 1995 to 2005. Alex holds a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from Universiteit Leiden, completed in 1985.
