Dirk Buikema has a long and varied work experience. Dirk began their career in 1979 as an Investigator for the Ward Commission. In 1986, they took on the role of Technology Attorney for Codex. In 1993, Dirk began working for Motorola as a Corporate Attorney and Director of Strategy World Wide Manufacturing. In 2002, they moved to Freescale Semiconductor as Director of Strategy and Business Development and Director of Sector Business Development. In 2005, Dirk founded CATZ Sports Training & Physical Therapy. Since 2007, they have been the CEO of Hyper Wear Inc., where they focus on product development, IP portfolio development, and e-commerce/Amazon channels.

Dirk Buikema attended Montclair Academy from 1968 to 1974, then the University of Pennsylvania from 1974 to 1978, where they earned a BA in Anthropology. Dirk then attended Suffolk University Law School from 1980 to 1983, where they earned a JD in Law.
