John Wildhagen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customer application engineering and after-sales technical leadership within the plasma cutting and automation industry. Currently serving as a Senior Customer Application Engineer at Hypertherm Associates since May 1999, John has progressed to key leadership roles, including After Sales Technical Team Leader for the EMEA region and Technical Service Team Leader. Prior to this, John worked as a Customer Application Engineer for Hypertherm Europe B.V. from November 2018 to December 2023, utilizing expertise in manufacturing processes and value stream optimization. John's career began at Sulzer Metco Benelux as a Service Engineer, specializing in plasma spraying equipment, before refining skills in mechatronics and leadership at Albertus Magnus College Breda.
