Billy Tan is a software engineer with extensive experience in both technical roles and teaching. Currently employed as a Software Engineer at Hyperspace since January 2022, Billy previously held the same position at Stealth from May 2020 to January 2022. Prior to these roles, Billy contributed as an Assistant Instructor at the Research Foundation of The City University of New York, where instruction focused on web development to computer science undergraduates. Additionally, Billy served as an Instructional Associate and Software Engineering Teaching Fellow at Fullstack Academy, mentoring students on technical concepts and facilitating admissions interviews. Earlier career experiences include working as an Analyst at Prime Clerk and serving as an Americorps Member with City Year. Billy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Binghamton University and completed a Software Engineering Immersive program at Fullstack Academy.
