Max Weintraub has a diverse work experience in the aerospace engineering and robotics fields. In 2020, they began working as an Aerospace Structural Engineer and an Aerospace Engineer for Collier Aerospace. In 2019, they were an Engineering Intern at Collier Research Corporation - HyperSizer Software, where they performed stress analysis and structural optimization using the HyperSizer software, collected and processed data, presented updates to customers, and created and gave presentations of work and results. In 2017, they were an Engineering Intern at BD, where they assisted in a manufacturing plant startup by working with a team to perform validation work, such as conducting tests for IQ on a vial production line. Max also oversaw the planning and execution of the creation of a dedicated spare parts area, with computerized organization and classification of parts, and led the design of change-over carts for a bottle production line. In 2018, they were an Official at NC State University Wellness and Recreation. In 2016, they served as a Summer Intern at the Duke Humans and Autonomy Laboratory, helping with experiments studying the convergence of robotics and human interaction. Max helped design an experiment studying safe human-robotic cohabitation of a factory production line.
Max Weintraub attended Chapel Hill High School from 2012 to 2016 and then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from North Carolina State University from 2016 to 2020.
