Michael Sarin, P.E., serves as president and chief engineer at EmpowerTech, Inc., since July 1993, where responsibilities include providing comprehensive engineering services for equipment design and project commercialization. Additionally, as test engineer lead at Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, Inc. since August 2014, Michael Sarin leads prototype development for studying aerodynamic effects on the Hyperloop capsule. Previous roles include consulting positions focused on engineering design in gas systems for advanced semiconductor processing and leading engineering efforts for gasifier designs. Michael Sarin holds a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and a B.A. in Business Finance from the University of the Pacific.
